Gold nugget's for fourth graders learning about the gold rush of 1849
Gold nuggets out of the American River in Northern California where gold was discovered in 1848 and started the gold rush of 1849 in the town of Coloma, California at Sutters Mill.
We also sell this vial to organizations that want to teach children about California gold, and take home a piece of history.
The vial is # 16 mesh and comes out of the South Fork of the American River and has approximately 0.25 grams of gold.
Our nuggets are weighed by Troy ounce on a Rite Weight G-SA-600-TT scale for accuracy.
No other scale or weight will be accepted.
